So here's a quick run down on how our tours work:
This is a no experience necessary guided tour. Each group of up to 5-6
snowmobiles will have 1 tour guide. You and your group will be with us for a total of 1.5
hours (an hour on trail and a up to a half hour of preparation beginning at your
check-in time).
Each of our snowmobiles can fit up to two people (drivers and passengers are welcome
to switch off along the ride as long both have valid drivers license). The driver
price is $119 and a passenger is $45+ tax. Your rental price includes a rental helmet too!
Can I bring my own personal helmet?
Yes! As long as it is a DOT (Department of Transportation) approved
helmet you are welcome to wear it in place of one of our rental helmets.
Ski helmets are not DOT approved. DOT approved helmets will have a
sticker on them saying “DOT Certified” typically located on the back of the helmet.
How old do you need to be to drive?
Driver’s must have a valid driver’s license to drive (a learner’s permit does
not qualify). Driver’s under 18 may only drive as a single.
How young can my passenger be?
Passengers can be as young as five years old.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, meaning if there are any reductions
to your original reservation you need to let us know 48 hours prior to your
reserved tour time. If you cancel entirely 48 hours before your tour you will
receive a full refund.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the time slot noted in your Confirmation email. We apologize but
we cannot give you a refund for arriving late to your scheduled time slot. While
we always do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee that you will be
able to go on your tour if you arrive late. It is your responsibility to ensure you
arrive on time. No Refunds will be issued so please arrive at your scheduled
meeting time.
When is payment due?
We require full payment at the time the reservation is made, but if
something changes and you need to cancel just let us know at least 48
hours prior to your tour and you will receive a full refund back to the card
that originally placed the reservation.
Is it okay to tip my guide?
Tips are an important part of every tour guide’s pay. If you enjoyed your ride tip your guide whatever you feel is appropriate.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes. We recommend that you have a reservation finalized at least 24 hours
before your tour. We are not taking walk-ins at this time.
Can I add a passenger to my reservation the day of?
Yes! As long as you have open passenger seats on your reservation you
can add passengers at anytime.
Can I add a driver to my reservation the day of?
Maybe! If we have a spare snowmobile available that hasn’t already been
rented then yes.
I’m a single father (or mother) with 2 kids, can we still go together?
Yes! As long as one of the kids doesn’t mind sitting passenger with the
guide.
How many snowmobiles can go out at once?
We take up to 5 two seater snowmobiles behind one guide, which means
you can book up to 10 people on one time slot (or 11 if one sits passenger
with the guide on tour).
Can I book more than 10 people at a time?
Yes! You just need to call us directly at 802 379 1483 to set that up.
What happens if I or somebody in my group breaks something on the
vehicle?
Great question! We offer an optional $15 damage insurance for each
vehicle that has a $250 deductible. What does that mean? If you or
somebody in your party totals a $10,000 snowmobile and you paid for the $15
damage insurance, you will only be required to pay us $250 and we will
cover the cost for the rest of the damages.
How fast do we go?
This is a family-friendly, scenic, guided tour. The pace of our tours depend on the entire group’s comfort level.
